Ben Bromfield is an Emmy-nominated composer for film, television, and video games out of Boston, MA. A lifelong jazz pianist, Ben graduated Berklee College of Music in 2010 and has lived in Los Angeles ever since. He is know for his score of the hit Netflix series Ginny & Georgia, as well as the popular animated Netflix shows based on the Dreamworks Boss Baby films. Ben is an expert in animation scoring, having composed the score for the Dreamworks Where's Waldo? series in addition to Netflix animation's Oddballs. In film, Ben has made his mark scoring such indies as BOOM!: A Film About The Sonics, a documentary telling the story of one of the most influential 60's rock bands, The Salzburg Story, a romantic comedy which won 'Best Feature Film' at the California International Film Festival, and Borderland, an action/thriller featuring performances by Bruce Dern and Peter Fonda.
Ben is an eclectic dude. He draws inspiration from film score greats like Thomas Newman, John Williams, Hans Zimmer and John Powell, orchestral legends such as Ravel, Tchaikowsky, Bernstein, and Copeland, jazz innovators like Oscar Peterson, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis and Cannonball Adderly, and contemporary artists like Kendrick Lamar, Jack Garratt, Fleet Foxes and Vulfpeck.
